Just as any child is born, this ministry, too, came into
being through its own sort of pain: one
of these ladies would pass the time, during her chemotherapy, by making
bracelets. She discovered, while
receiving weekly treatments, how God would open the door for her to pray for
others, and how she could bless and encourage them through these bracelets.
Only through faith in our mighty God, can we find such joy, even while suffering. As Jesus – “Who for the joy that was set before Him endured the Cross,” we find through our own trials and sufferings, that God works in us, the ability to comfort others with the comfort we have received from Him. For this reason, each of our bracelets is adorned with a cross. In our good times, and in our hard times, we keep our eyes focused on Jesus, and His Cross -- and through sharing our bracelets, we can point others in the same direction.
All of our jewelry is handmade with beads and charms
purchased by the ladies of Living Waters and donated to the bead ministry. There are so many beautiful designs, each
unique -- it’s hard to choose! Whether
you are purchasing one for yourself, in supporting this ministry, or, to give as
a gift for a special occasion, or simply desiring to bless a friend or loved
one going through a difficult trial of their own -- the receiver of such a bracelet is sure to be
blessed!
Through this ministry, our ladies have been able to bless those who are
hospitalized, in nursing homes, and ‘shut in’ for various reasons. Our desire is to offer them hope, and let
them know they are loved! Beads and Blessings has provided food for
families in need, as well as to those who are on the verge of being homeless. We have purchased Bibles and clothing for our
military, and have also been able to provide support and assistance in more
personal and individual circumstances. These are just a few of the many ways in which God has allowed us to be His Hands in blessing others, and in bringing comfort, hope and encouragement when life gets hard.
